Blood and Wine, also called Sangre de mi Tierra, premiered on Telemundo Africa this week and let’s just say the tension, the drama and intrigue are gradually building up. I’m going to believe that it’s will be one huge explosion by the time the series reaches its climax. I also hope that it’s not going to be one of those series that start well with a big bang but then don’t give us the fire and intensity we want in our soap operas and TV shows.
Anyhoo, what’s up in and with Blood and Wine (Sangre de mi Tierra) and who are the stars?
Blood and Wine (Sangre de mi Tierra): The Main Cast
We’ve got acting badasses like;
Lambda Garcia leads the cast of this great story as the protagonist. His character, Juan Jose Montiel is a nice and unruly man who causes the accident that plunges both families into war. But he will learn from his mistakes and watch as the love of his life Ana Belena (played by Aurora Castañeda), a member of the opposing family marries another man. He, therefore, lives his life trying to right the wrongs his single action had caused.
Ana Belena (played by Aurora Castañeda) is the Heroine of the series. She is forced to marry an abusive psychopath named Roberto Quiroga (Santiago Ramundo) even though she is in love with Juan Jose Montiel.
Roberto Quiroga, played by Santiago Ramundo completes the love triangle by marrying Ana Belena with selfish intentions of his own. He becomes the antagonist of the story, an abusive husband who has made it his life mission to antagonize both families in his quest for power and ambition.
